Congratulations not only on the occasion for which the Recording Studio Gift Experience was given to you (unless you bought it for yourself!) but you are now entitled to a fantastic opportunity to finally record in our professional sound recording studios. You are going to absolutely LOVE this experience.
Our gift experiences are for singers, artists, bands and DJ's, and we can tailor your studio session to your specific requirements. Most of the experiences we provide are for singers, but if you are thinking about doing anything other than singing to backing tracks, just give us a call and we can discuss what you would like to do and we can let you know of timescales involved.

Read the information below and then simply contact us by email or telephone quoting the reference on your CD Voucher.
Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date ordered, and bookings must be made by this date.
If you phone and there is no reply, please leave a brief message and we'll call you back as soon as we are available.
Due to the nature of our work, it's sometimes difficult to take all phone calls during business hours. |

Our studio is fully equipped for recording.. well... pretty much anything, and if you are a singer/performer, you are welcome to record instruments to accompany your track.
This obviously takes much more time, but if you are interested in this, let us know and we can discuss your requirements. |

Singers - Choose Your Songs |
|
 Singers - choose your backing tracks in advance and let us know your selection(s). You can view our general list of backing tracks available via the backing tracks link at the top of this page.
As a rule, allow 1 hour to record and mix each song. If you are well rehearsed, you may be able to record more, so its always worth having an extra choice in mind just in case.
Please let us know if you don't see what you want as we can usually obtain most tracks. If you want us to send you a copy of a track to practice in advance (by Email, CD, Minidisc or Cassette), that's no problem at all, let us know and we'll arrange to get one to you.
You may have your own version of a particular backing track that you wish to use. If so, please bring it with you on the day (preferably on CD as an audio track or .wav / MP3 File format).
If you desparately want to record a song that we are unable to locate a backing track (maybe a not so popuar song), we can arrange to have the track producted especially for you for a fee. Please contact us if this is required. |

Our normal opening hours are:
• Monday to Friday 10:00hrs to 23:00hrs.
• Saturday: 10:00hrs to 22:00hrs
• Sunday: 10:00hrs to 22:00hrs

We are generally open between these hours for recording studio experiences, but may be able to arrange alternative times to accommodate in exceptions. Please ask. |

Time slots vary depending on the studio's current booking schedule - this can vary from week to week. As a general rule, expect a 2-3 week wait - extra time for some practice for the big day!
Have a few dates in mind when you contact us, and we will agree on a suitable date and time. Bear in mind that weekends are always the most popular time and you may have to wait longer for your booking. |

Your session time at April Media Productions recording studio is exclusive. The entire studio is yours for the allocated time.
• Silver Experience - 1 hour
• Gold Experience- 2 hours
• Platinum Experience - 3 hours
• Megastar Experience - 4 hours
• Superstar Party- 4 hours

Need more time? No problem, we can upgrade your voucher and then additional time required in excess of 4 hours can be purchased upon request at a preferential studio rate, but you will need to do this BEFORE your session so we can book the additional studio time for you.
If you want to purchase any additional extras such as souvenir CD's or presentation discs, you can arrange this on the day, or even at a later date. |

Our Ten Most Important Top Tips & Advice |

Make sure that you are well rehearsed so as not to waste your allotted time on practicing or re-takes. |
| 2. |
Be sure to know the song(s) you are going to record without the lead vocal. Less experienced singers sometimes can have difficulties singing the lead vocal without the guide. All you will sing to is the backing track often with vocal harmonies for accompaniment which can prove to be a lot more tricky than singing along with the original version! |

Bare in mind that the session time includes not only your performance time, but time taken in studio preparation, mixing, mastering and final CD production for you to take home there and then. |
| 4. |
A one hour session goes very quickly, and you will need to be well rehearsed to get the best from your vocals. If in doubt, book an extra hour. |
| 5. |
It is quite normal for less experienced singers to feel a little nervous at first - Try not to worry - we're very friendly and will help you get the very best from your session. |
| 6. |
As a rule, it takes longer to mix and master a song as it does to record the vocals! Use the time allocated wisely. |
| 7. |
If you are well rehearsed, you should on average expect to record and mix one song per hour session. Don't worry as we will keep you on track. |
| 8. |
Avoid bringing too many friends, family and fans! Longer sessions can prove tedious for spectators and guests can be off-putting to all involved. The maximum number of spectators that we allow is four. |

Please plan your route in advance and arrive promptly for the start of your session. Please not until 15 minutes before your session start time as we may be with other clients. We will be unable to run over the pre-booked time if there is a session booked after you. |
